Microsoft today announced that it will be killing it’s Groove Music and and transfer subscribers to Spotify.By the end of this year Groove music no longer allows you to purchase,download or play music.Microsoft will display a message to Groove users by next week.
Customers will be able to transition their curated playlists and collections to Spotify.You may even get 60 day trial of this service.This process will rewuire you to either login to your spotify account or create a new account and all your music will be available in Spotify.
Microsoft continues to update the Groove Music app so you can play your purchased music, including the tracks you’ve uploaded to OneDrive.But On December 31, 2017, the option to stream, purchase, and download music from Groove Music will not be available. After December 31, 2017, you’ll still be able to listen to your purchased music if it has been only downloaded.
